Weight Loss Made Easy (Method # 2)

Sometimes when you look at the total number of pounds you need to lose to reach your goal it can be a Weight-loss-made-easy bit overwhelming…

You think to yourself how you will ever be able to reach that goal and as a result you over complicate the weight loss process.

I recommend that instead of concentrating on the total amount of weight you have to lose just focus on what your goal is for that week. It may seem like a simple concept, but this one has real power to it. If you now think to yourself that you only need to lose 1.5 pounds this week it’s a lot more acceptable in your mind. As a result, you be more likely to believe that you can actually achieve this realistic number and will take the proper steps needed to make it happen.

I am avoiding the scale altogether, and going by how my clothing fits (getting loser now!!).

Instead, I started by writing down EVERYTHING I ate and immediately I became more conscious of my habits. Within 4 days, I recognized I needed to eat more in the morning and during the day, and less at night. By day 6, I realized I needed to add exercise and have added that to my post-dinner routine.

I am still writing down all I eat. I have not even weighed myself yet. Eventually I will, but I can look in the mirror and try on formerly tight clothing - even formerly impossible to fasten pants - and see the results. If I was weighing in all the time I feel like I would get more discouraged. This way, *I* see and feel the results - rather than the scale.
