iPhone Workout Buddy Applications
I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at first about all the new iPhone applications, but now I just look on in amazement.
I’m not saying you can replace human interaction with your doctor, registered dietician, personal trainer, or other advisor just using an “app,” but for tasks such as keeping track of your data, or determining certain health assessments it’s amazing.
And for $.99 you can try out a couple until you find the one you like best…
I found one that can keep track of my weights and even beep when my rest time is up. The only downfall was that I couldn’t customize my own exercises in the workout log. However, most of the applications are continuing to make updates and I’m sure I will see those modifications in the future.
I also found the process of looking up new ways to calculate and keep track of my own workouts pretty motivating and fun… and I’m willing to bet you find the same thing to be true.
