Overweight and Overworked

J0432728 Every now and then I’ll have a new client that complains about being overweight but who at the same time is a workaholic. Frequently a person with this type of personality will not allow any time for planning and preparing healthier food choices and exercise. These are two things that are essential if you want to both manage your weight and be healthy. This problem is not just about being overweight, it's about health and taking care of yourself.

Sure it’s a reality of life that many employers really do expect more than a 40 hour week. Or maybe you have your own business that requires you to put in more time. Once in awhile this might be alright but over time this continual stress wears the immune system down resulting in getting sick or losing energy and being sluggish more often. Attitude may be compromised and productivity will probably decrease.  So what’s a person to do?  The idea is balance. Tomorrow I’ll give you some useful tips so you can hold on to your job and still be healthy and maintain your weight.
