"Holiday Wish List"

HolidaywishlistAs you're gearing up for the holiday season, I have no doubt that you’re thinking about what gifts to buy others, as well as ideas for what they can get you.

This year, I thought it would be a great idea to share with you a few of my favorite health & fitness gifts for the holidays.

The items below would make a great addition to your home workout equipment and all of them take up very little space…

1. Schwinn Airdyne Bike
The Schwinn Airdyne Bike is the best piece of cardio equipment for the home. It’s small, fairly lightweight, and costs far less than most other home gym pieces.

2. Bowflex SelectTech Dumbbells
These dumbbells are more costly than the usual spin-lock ones that I typically recommend, but they are super easy to use. All you do is click the weight setting that you want to lift and it drops off the additional weight. Pretty easy…

3. JC Travel Resistance Band
This small double-sided exercise band is easy to travel with and attaches to any fixed object or door. There are literally hundreds of exercises you can do with it and you’ll never have an excuse to miss a workout with the JC Travel Band. Plus, it comes in different resistance levels and it’s only $19.95!

Have fun coming up with your own list and I hope it includes at least one health & fitness related product!

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Perhaps you should check out those comments before they are posted? Susan says nothing at all but appends her business url. Greentitan's "Wow check this out" leads not to a fitness tip but to what looks like a pyramid scheme.

Hardly nutrition and fitness data!
Call me disappointed.

Response from Monica:

Gilda, I find commercial "comments" annoying as well. We keep the comments open in order to foster an open exchange between our readers and bloggers. But user comments are certainly not representative of our views.

About the topic in fitness, yes we all know that fitness is really healthy to our body, but the most effective way to have a slim and healthy body is to drink water. Yes water is very important to our body right? because it flushes out the wastes from the body and moisturizes the skin. well now! an effective way to be fit is drinking water, if we are refering to water always remembre that because water is no plurarity, the Borba water has a supplement water provide antioxidant antiaging effects. Which is other well-known healthty drinks.

Health fitness is general fitness. It consists of the endurance of your heart and muscles.Skill related fitness on the other hand is related to specific taks. It includes agility, balance, co-ordination, flexibility, etc.
