How to Recognize What Fitness Level You Are At

How_to_recognize_what_fitness_lev_2With all the information that you’re bombarded with every day it’s often difficult to figure out where to start…

And in terms of health & fitness you may be wondering what level you fall into. Are you a beginner, intermediate, advanced fitness enthusiast, or do you fall somewhere in between?

Without being able to personally meet with you, I want to do my best to recommend where you should start. So, if you see a workout video online, purchase an exercise magazine, or read a fitness article outlining a particular workout routine you should take the proper precautions before getting started.

That means you need to step back and evaluate if this program fits within your comfort zone. Have you ever attempted anything like it? Do the exercises look foreign to you? How safe do you think it is for you to try in your current condition?

If you feel the workout is right for you then my last recommendation is to start at the very first introductory level. Even if you are advanced, there’s no harm in taking a step back and making sure you have fully mastered the basic movements required to move up a notch.

The program you choose should be intense enough to cause a change in your body, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be safe. Keep in mind, injuring yourself only sets you back another few weeks from being able to achieve your goals…

Health fitness is general fitness. It consists of the endurance of your heart and muscles.Skill related fitness on the other hand is related to specific taks. It includes agility, balance, co-ordination, flexibility, etc.
