Monday is the Most Important Day of the Week

MondayisthemostimportantdayoftheweeYes I said it... Monday IS the most important day of the week.

Why?

The reason I say it’s the most important day is because what you do on Monday largely sets the tone for how the rest of your week is going to go. If you get behind on Monday you’re most likely going to be playing catch-up the rest of the week and never really feel like you’re getting ahead.

My recommendation is to always make sure your exercise program includes a Monday workout. This is KEY to your long-term success and adherence to your weight loss and healthy lifestyle maintenance program.

So to me, this means having a set time written into your planner for when you will MAKE the time to exercise that day. And, if for some reason the day slips away and you were forced to put work, family, or social commitments before your personal fitness time, I strongly suggest you end your day with a make-up workout.

This workout can be going for a walk after dinner when you get home or a body weight exercise routine that you can do right in your living room. Trust me, if you make yourself do it you’ll feel great about half way through, and really proud of yourself when you finish! You’ll also have prevented a “cheat” on the very 1st day of your week...

What you do today says a lot about how dedicated your are to making a change in your life and living to your fullest potential. Make the commitment to yourself and your body to not neglect it even when you think there just isn’t any time left in the day. Get started now!
