"You Can (lose weight) If You Think You Can!"

J0386813 So many times a dieter wants to join a weight loss program but he comes in with a lot of doubt.  He will say, "I've tried this program, I've tried that plan..."  Most healthy programs of eating will in fact work, if you follow them through and change your eating and lifestyle accordingly. But many a person will enter into a weight loss regime with a negative belief that it won't work for him. Most people have failed before. (After all the success rate for permanent weight loss is very low, usually under 5%.)

But the bottom line is if you honestly don’t believe you can do something, you won't be able to do it. You'll continue "trying" but you won't succeed because deep inside you might not have the inner belief that you can succeed. This reminds me of a verse from Henry Ford:

You Can If You Think You Can!

If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you like to win, but you think you can't,
It is almost certain you won't.
If you think you'll lose, you're lost,
For out in the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will.
It's all in the state of mind.
If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man.
But soon or later the man who wins,
Is the man who thinks he can.

Thank you for your recommendations, in that I do not really understand in this regard. What you said is right, confidence is everything for us to overcome weapons. The same way you lose weight.

It's very interesting to think: "You can if you think you can!". I think it's true, because in school I made unbelievable things, because I only thought I can do it. When I have problems with weight, then it is a very good way.
