The Solution to the Resolution
The other day I mentioned how so many people quit their New Year's Resolution to lose weight around the third week of January. Before giving up I suggested you first isolate the challenge and try to understand why you are considering resigning. This next step involves finding the solution. Here are some questions you can ask yourself. Just answer them honestly:
- What is it that I need to succeed?
- What do I need to do to make the weight loss challenge work?
- Is there someone that can professionally help me or do I just need support?
- How do I find reliable and good professional help (if needed)?
- Do I need encouragement? Who can give it to me?
- Can I be more effective in my communication to get the right kind of support that I need?
