Stay Safe: Cardio Abusers Have Been Warned!

Cardioabuse

What do most people do to get ready for a 45 minute, non-stop cardio session?

Nothing! That's right; they just head outside or hop on a treadmill and start running. No warm-up needed I guess…

Unfortunately, these people will have to endure

a cycle of repetitive motion injuries from not acclimating their bodies to the impact which is about to take place.

At the very least, you will want to complete a 5 minute light jog followed by some type of stretching to make sure your body is in proper alignment before going out for 10,000 heel strikes. Then, you are more than welcome to go out for your run and you will be far less likely to suffer an injury due to lack of mobility or flexibility.

For an even better way to get your body ready for that day's workout, be sure to check out this 5 minute dynamic movement!
