Simply Decide

J0402550 One huge factor that people frequently "forget" while trying to lose weight is that there is a "price to pay."  ND's website had a great quote by H.L. Hunt awhile back that we certainly should reflect on daily: "Decide what you want. Decide on what you are willing to exchange for it. Establish your priorities. Go to work." This quote is "deeper" than you might think. So.....

"Decide what you want.…" Review yesterday's blog on exactly why you want to lose weight in the first place. Keep your reasons alive and strong by committing to focusing on them every single day.

"...Decide on what you are willing to exchange for it…." Are you willing to eat healthy, give up excess food intake, eat in moderation, exercise regularly, plan your meals better and cook more?

"….Establish your priorities…." What are your personal priorities in terms of health? Do you want to look good, have energy, and acquire positive self-esteem?

"…Go to work….."  This is the hard part, but break it up into small manageable chunks so it can be accomplished and so you always see some success.

Hi Jinsook, that's a good resolution and a positive way at viewing food intake. Thought patterns are hard to break so keep at it. It will stick at some point!

This article reminds me of my New Years' resolution. I decided not to eat food to satisfy my mouth, but to eat food to strengthen my body. But, how do I look now? I still follow my old habit. Shame on me. Anyway, I'm glad to have time reminding me of my resolution again. Yes, it's very simple decision. But the results are great.
