"Should I Take Off Thanksgiving Day from Working Out?"

If by that you mean take off a day from the gym, than I say Thanksgiving_dinner

by all means go for it!

However, I do suggest you don't count out all forms of activity. You're going to be most likely consuming extra calories so you want to try to counteract that somehow.

The easiest way to do that is by going for a 30 minute walk after the main meal. Of course, if you have the motivation the best thing would be to get in a quick 15-20 minute interval that morning to get the heart rate up and prime your body to better metabolize the food that lies ahead.

Either way, enjoy the day and focus on family and friends rather than all the food that sits in front of you.

Those are excellent points. I agree that overall healthy nutritional guidelines will lead to a lifetime of achieving and maintaining great results.

Sounds good to me! People do have the tendency to eat more than they should, but what they really should be doing is to focus on good nutrition, which, for many people, would mean weight loss and a better life. Thanks for the advice, Stephen!
