Maintenance is Success During the Holidays

J0433082 It's easy to feel alone in weight management when others don't seem to care and eat with abandon. Dieters give up on their food plan during the holidays because they get frustrated trying to cope with all the challenging food events, extra activities and busyness that go along with this time of year. You know what typically happens.

You gain weight like most of the population. Don't allow this to happen when you have worked so hard.

More than any other time of the year it's important to be realistic about weight loss efforts. Real success is if anyone can maintain his/her weight during the weeks between Thanksgiving and New Years!

How to maintain? One way is to stay accountable by enlisting the support of a friend. Report in daily to support each other and strategize maneuvering successfully around the eating events. I suggest using ND's Daily Needs Calculator to determine your maintenance level and also be accountable to yourself using the Pantry to log in your daily calories.
