Make the Leap!

Cliffjumping Don’t put off starting your new workout program!

We are quickly approaching the time of year when the excuses start to pile up with holiday parties, shopping, family gatherings, and other projects that end up moving up on your priority list.

You may be saying to yourself that you’ve put it off this long, or that you’ll just begin a brand new routine for the New Year. Trust me when I tell you that

the time will never be perfect and you will always be weighed down with demands on your time. Whether it is work, family, or friends pulling you in a dozen different directions, remember to remind yourself that you are also a high priority.

Your life, your health, and your emotional well-being hinge on you functioning at your very best. Don’t get overwhelmed with thinking you need to go to the gym 5 days a week and exercise for an hour and a half each time. There’s a big benefit to getting short 30-minute stints in when you work major muscle groups and get your heart rate pumping.

So take out your calendar just like you would for work and social gatherings and mark your personal time to exercise along side your other “can’t miss” events!
